  2. Eh, that's about the only thing they have in common. Farnsworth's slider isn't even in the same realm as Marmol's. And Marmols fastball is a good 4-5 MPH slower on average.
  3. an observation from seeing him live today: He throws really freaking hard. I'm so going to be a scout one day.

  5. Welcome home, cubs. I really don't feel like being there today so do me a favor and win quickly. kthanksbye.

  10. They just mentioned it on ESPN, no details.
  11. If it's 2 hrs before gametime and no one has started a thread I believe it's open for anyone to start. So go for it.
  12. No wait, they are still in last place. I would put one in Tejada's ear tomorrow. What did he do? They didn't mention anything on the radio. I'm assuming he was posing after the leaping catch? Yeah, when he landed he stood there in this ridiculous position then started making a throat slitting motion.
  13. Yep. The football team is me. Also, are we doing the draft entirely on this forum or are you just gonna open up the league on yahoo and have us add players in the draft order. It'd be a lot easier that way and if I remember correctly that's how we did it last year?
  14. Maybe, but currently the red line (and i'm sure there's a bus that runs there too) is the only public transportation option to get to the cell. If you move it up to the south loop then you've got trains coming from every part of the city. That also puts you a lot closer to metra and south shore trains. It's possible that whatever they may lose by people not wanting to drive to the city, they could gain in how easy it would be to get to the ballpark via public transportation.
  15. No, they should've built it in the South Loop. Where exactly would you propose building it there? There's not a whole lot of open space there. It'd be pretty cool to have there - I just don't know where they'd put it. EDIT:There there there there.
  16. Simpletons? Hahaha. This thread rocks.
