i havent looked surely they can't be that ba :shock: Harvey's first minor league season was in Daytona ( #-o ), and he had a 5.1% BB rate and a 24.7% K rate. Baez is at 3.7% and 27.1%. Harvey didn't reach Daytona until his 4th professional season. Fangraphs just doesn't have MiLB stats that far back. The other important difference is that production never showed up for Harvey, his greatest full season OPS as a Cub was .786 at Peoria. Dopirak is the much better cautionary tale, he at least had the decency to mash in the Midwest League before flaming out dramatically in Daytona. Oops. Damn you, FanGraphs.
