    It's not all about safety. Rodon has a legit secondary pitch (slider) while Kolek doesn't yet and also seems to have command issues. Command and secondary pitches can be developed, 100 MPH can't. Also, he doesn't seem to have control issues (8 walks in 60 innings), which speaks well for his ability to develop command.

    Yeah, it does. I guess there's a chance Torres could go to Boise but that doesn't seem likely. Can't remember a guy skipping both the DSL and AZL. That'd be pretty crazy.
