  1. How poorly has Addy been playing? He had a walk and a hit in game 1, and probably had the best overall AB against Strasburg when he was dominating everyone else and generally seems to be hitting the ball hard since his return. This is just based on gut I have no idea if the numbers validate this. That said Addy vs Scherzer seems like a poor matchup for sure
  2. Seems like the wind is switching from blowing out to blowing in right around game time. Was hoping for a repeat of that crazy game last year wher we scored a billion runs of Scherzer.
  3. Holy crap i think I'm about 1 more week from flat out dropping Amari Cooper in a 12 team league that starts 4 WR a week. He's put up a goose egg so far today and if that stands he will have 3 catches for 15 yards over his last 3 games. Total.
  4. I somehow missed the Harper bat flip yesterday. Just saw it now...I can't even be mad..that bat flip was horsefeathering awesome
  5. And then option D "holy hell are you horsefeathering kidding me?" Which is actually fairly similar to option C
  6. I vote for an option C "while I have an opinion on this, I don't really care nearly as much as Tim and wonder why he won't shut up about this stupid argument"
  7. Same. I'm trying to think of a more heartbreaking playoff loss since 2003. Maybe Game 3 against the Giants but we were up 2-0 coming into the game. So the most heartbreaking playoff loss in 14 years and I'm like...fine games 1 and 4 of the world series last year were pretty damn awful Yes but not what I'd consider heartbreaking. I was referring to situations where the game was somewhat in hand before blowing it late, or a fake rally late fails etc. no doubt games 1 and 4 of the World Series sucked and were more meaningful losses but I was able to make peace with both games well before each of them ended
  8. Doooo it. I've already gotten CTE from getting kicked in the head from sports all evening.
  9. You can go to those games after they clinch and Mike Freeman is hitting 5th
  10. This day is so much like 2015 when Michigan choked against MSU then Cubs lost game 1 of the NLCS. Michigan 3-17 against rivals since Carr retired. I hate sports.
  11. If I'm mad about anything I'm mad that CJ picked the absolute worst time to throw a hanging curve ball. One of the top 5 hitters in baseball who is itching to put the team on his back with the season nearly on the line on a 3-1 count so you know he's going to be swinging hard at anything close to a strike. I mean sometimes you just don't execute but damn was that a really poor time to not execute. Then again I remember that garbage breaking pitch Blanton threw to Montero last year that Miggy missed on and then he threw another hanger on the next pitch. It happens but I wish it didn't happen to Carl today
  12. That's fine if you want him benched but come on, dude was World Series MVP he's not a piece of horsefeathers, just busted down and old I mean he's the only bad player on this team That doesn't mean he's a piece of horsefeathers. They probably don't win the World Series last year without him. He's just old and bad now
  13. So Honduras drew. That means baring a monumental change in GD, the likes of which have rarely been seen in the history of professional soccer, the US will clinch if they can get any result on Tuesday. If they were to lose, the only way to be completely out of it is if Honduras and Panama both win road matches. I don't think they will lose but if you think about it we could be in the exact opposite scenario as 4 years ago needing an already clinched Mexico side to get a point to send the US through Edit: TT basically made the same post 3 mins before me
  14. That's fine if you want him benched but come on, dude was World Series MVP he's not a piece of horsefeathers, just busted down and old

  17. Oh I see that one got in. Someone tell them that the L flag is blue with a white letter
  18. Because our fans don’t turn our stadium into a morgue when things go wrong these days. And theirs do. And that really hurt the Nats tonight I don't even think about HFA in baseball
  19. Funny but game 3 is like the 1 game you actually want to start him given his success vs Scherzer
