I'm not going to cry or anything but he's been the most likeable cardinal for the past decade or so. Wainwright has been the most "likeable" cardinals player of the past decade??? Obviously when he came up we were hoping for a .900 OPS 30+ HR beast but I am happy to see Javy at these numbers. He's never going to be a threat to walk, he's always going to have ABs where we swings at garbage and looks awful, but he comes up with big hits time and time again. Now if he could elevate his defense to anywhere near where he was last year he would be that much more valuable.

The best (worst) thing about that rally is that instead of facing the bottom of the order, I think Wade will have to go through Bautista, Donaldson and Smoak to close it out instead of the weak ass bottom of their order.
