  1. Jesus Castillo is bad behind the plate.
  2. This was not a championship team even if they had Rose. This was the same team to me that lost in the playoffs last year and had Derrick carry them all the way to the ECF. You can't win with role players in the NBA. It doesn't happen. Period.
  3. http://www.twitpic.com/9jp2zt/full
  4. Bulls lose Noah and Rose and lose in the 1st round to an 8 seed Bears lose Cutler and Forte and miss the playoffs after a 7-3 start Blackhawks lose in the 1st round for the 2nd straight year and lose Toews to a concussion for most of the season. Illinois football starts off the year 6-0, finishes 1-6. Illinois basketball starts off 12-0, misses NCAA tournament and the NIT Heat will win the title this year Packers won the title last year Cardinals won the title last year I guess the Cubs got Theo?
  5. Unless you factor in Luol Deng and Derrick Rose missing the first few months.
  6. Carlos Boozer is going to be with this team next year. I don't blame Jerry Reinsdorf for not getting rid of him either and I think he's one of the cheapest owner in sports.
  7. Asik can't come out unless Noah can come in and Noah would have been in a long time ago. Have to keep Asik out there. Boozer is worthless.
  8. Soto is a big concern, no? No. I mean I guess he's not a big concern because he won't be here when we're contending again and if Rizzo or Jackson came up and showed they couldn't hit it would be a much bigger concern since they're out future but right now, Soto needs to start hitting. I'm willing to give him some time but as of right now he just looks lost at the plate. I was encouraged by his 11 or so pitch at-bat yesterday though that led to a strikeout. Soto hasn't been good at all at working the count so far this season. He's usually one or two pitches and done. But as mentioned above, I'm very happy with this team so far outside of Barney, Marmol, Wood, Soto, and Soriano's lack of power but even on a World Series team you're going to have some gripes. This team seems well-coached and on the up and this was supposed to be a lost year.
  9. Soto is a big concern, no? He just looks stupid at the plate this season seeing one pitch and grounding out. I mean he won't stay at a .152 average but he's also not going to hit above .220 from what I've seen so far this year.

  11. Soto down to .152 and showing no signs of getting better.
  12. That's bad managing. I guess Ian Stewart is feared.
  13. The Cubs defensive positioning this season has been incredible.

  15. Anthony Rizzo hit his 2nd 3-run homer of the game and then Josh Vitters went back-to-back.
  16. Ronnie Brewer should have been playing this whole series.
  17. The two guys who were supposed to be our our 2 best relievers going into the year now are the only ones giving up runs and losing games for us.
  18. Once again thanks to the idiots who wanted him re-signed.
