Yes, it's Soto's fault that the Cubs have no power and no patience. It must be all the dope he's smoking. This isn't the point at all. The Cubs won more games the last two years when Koyie Hill caught and the guy couldn't hit at all. I'm not a Soto hater by any means. I loved him when he first came up in 2007 and when he won Rookie of the Year in 2008 but the guy has just regressed and he hurts the Cubs more than he helps them at this point. Plus, he's 29 years old AKA not in the Cubs plans for the future. I'd like to see what Wellington Castillo and Steve Clevenger can do behind the plate for the rest of the year. Odds are, they aren't the catchers of the future either but it can't hurt to take a look.
