    Yeah, no doubt the ball beat him. Macias had a perfect throw if Beltran had gone for a slide like he was supposed to...just seemed like Beltran was on the base quite a bit before the tag.

    I am not definite on this, but did anybody else think Beltran was safe? No excuse for his lack of hustle though.

    Why is it that whenever Neifi gets a hit it looks like it was way more luck than skill? My 5 year old nephew could have hit the ball that hard.

    In 2005, all the time.. :wink: Hell, so far, isn't 2005 Lee better than anything Pujols has done? I guess it would be hard to tell since we are only in late July. I'll have to go do some looking around.

    Eckstein is the kind of guy that I love to watch play and would like on any other team...except the Cards. Maybe the Astros and the Marlins too.
