  1. I agree. I know he wants to be out there if it wasn’t for the concussions, but when he’s missed much time as he has and hurt the team year after year, you really shouldn’t be saying anything.
  2. They can’t even fire a coach correctly
  3. Sorta. But Caleb just be smart and get out of bounds. Don’t try to fake out the defender.
  4. He’s had some wins and losses and I would rate him as a slightly above average GM. Good: Caleb, DJ, the Carolina trade in general, Wright, B. Jones, Sweat. Bad: Eberflus, neglecting the center, Davis, V. Jones, Claypool. Poles has assembled what should be a .500 roster this season that should be a playoff team next year. But I can’t blame anyone for wanting him gone too.
  5. “Ownership really hates all this losing.” No, they don’t. They waited a day before firing Waldron though and wasn’t he the first coordinator ever fired by the Bears midseason?.
  6. “Whatever that situation is, that’s going to be coach’s call,” Williams said. “Maybe in the later years of my career, but right now, I get the call, I’m trying to lead the guys to win and I’m trying to get everybody lined up. And from there, I’m trying to make a play for the Chicago Bears.” Is Caleb talking about not wanting to take a TO or the play call? He audibled out of the call, so clearly he’s given reign to do that. But if you are going to audible out, you have to have a quick play ready to go.
  7. And that’s one reason why I wouldn’t mind seeing him fired. I always wanted Harbaugh, but the McCaskeys didn’t.
  8. Poles has plenty of blame and I wouldn’t mind seeing him go too, but we can still admit that he wasn’t given full reign of football ops from the beginning. He was given 3 coaches to choose from. Has every Bears GM not wanted to fire their coach midseason or does that come from ownership? It’s clearly ownership. They meddle.
  9. Caleb has to have a better grasp on the clock too. With the game clock running, you have get the play off sooner if you are going to audible. Is it true that the Bears won’t let Caleb call timeouts?
  10. Everyone knows Eberflus needs to be fired. You have an extra 3 days plus a full week with a new coach. Eberflus’ only redeeming qualities have been his ability to coach the defense and that his players respected him. The defense has been shaky late in games for some time and his players have lost faith in him. There is not a single reason to keep him and even the conservative McCaskeys have to see this. Hard Knocks in-season would have been so great.
  11. If we think he was allowed to fire Eberflus last offseason
  12. He took DJ Moore away from them which helped make them worse. It was an all-time great trade.
  13. “Virginia takes these losses very hard.” Then do something about it. Your season is over. See how the team responds with Thomas Brown as head coach.
  14. Ownership gave Poles only three head coach options. Ownership might not let Poles fire Eberflus. George McCaskey said “I’m not a football evaluator, just a fan.” Yes, ownership is a big part of the problem.
  15. He’s accurate because he doesn’t really try deep field goals
  16. The players know this and that’s why they are hammering him for it. He has to be fired tomorrow.
  17. He will never learn. How can he say he handled it the right way and that he takes responsibility?
  18. Cunningham would be the GM as picked by Kevin Warren. Unless the Bears want to be rid of Poles and his right-hand man.
  19. If the Bears don’t fire Eberflus by tomorrow, head coaching candidates might think they have a serious organizational problem. That was the rumor with Ben Johnson. The only question will be does Poles get fired too. Would you hire Ian Cunningham as his replacement?
  20. Jenkins had hands to the face so hard it ripped the helmet of the Lions’ lineman off
  21. Pretty much all of Eberflus’ tenure has him as the laughingstock
  22. I’ve never seen a coach get crushed like this on social media. He deserves all of it.
