    Stevenson not starting today. Is the “that didn’t go over well in the locker room” referring to Tyrique’s benching or Tyrique pulling himself out of practice?

    Now why we know Eberflus hired him since they think alike. These Bears coaches won’t ever admit error even though the players themselves think the call was stupid. Are they worried about hurting Kramer’s feelings?

    I could be wrong, but I get the impression that vets and captains want Tyrique to be benched for a game. There has been a lot of talk about accountability and the only thing that can really make a player take notice is losing money or playing time. Tyrique has gotten chewed out for being lazy during last year’s training camp and has had multiple dumb personal fouls this year and then last Sunday’s episode. He’s clearly talented, but obviously the consequences he has experienced so far haven’t deterred him.

    It wasn’t that he made a bad tip. It was a idiotic mostly non-football play of not being ready at the snap that led to the bad tip. Which is the kind of thing what the other players got benched for.

    Jaylon Johnson said that the coaches won’t let him mirror the #1 receiver. He has to stick to his side. I don’t understand that.

    Romeo Dobbs got benched/suspended a few weeks ago. There was a player who got benched for running onto the field and taking the coin toss as a captain. There is some precedent.

    Between these comments and the offensive captains telling Waldron they need to be coached harder, you can see Eberflus and co beginning to lose the locker room

    I’m not giving up on him, but with his history which includes getting disciplined during 2023 training camp for loafing, he needs to be disciplined

    “A really good moment.” Like the moments Eberflus got praised for last year which included partially getting out of the messes he himself made. You shouldn’t get an award for that.

    Got burned on a long play, had a personal foul, taunted the Commanders’ fans while the ball was hiked, and tipped the ball backwards to lose the game. Quite the Sunday!

    Well then there was one. But Williams was the consensus #1 pick. Just goes to show that no one knows how to really pick QBs. With that said, it’s hard to determine if Caleb has it with this line. He looked brutal for 3.5 quarters today and it wasn’t just bad o line play. He was jittery and erratic and has no accuracy on the deep ball.

    Daniels looks to be the better QB, but no one had him graded out better than Caleb. And that’s basically keeping Daniels out of the end zone until the last play while the Bears scored two TDs.
