  1. Yes. How did the refs miss that call? That was right in the field and totally obvious. You can't beat the Vikings nd lose calls like that.
  2. Do you think that these teams could run the ball, they are just too busy passing it to really give the backs the carries? Concerning Martz, I don't think it would work out. Doesn't he like to be in absolute control and that is why he left San Francisco? Plus, the Bears don't need a new OC as much as new players. They need a big possession receiver and nearly an entirely new line.
  3. image protection / spin control time on a side note, if she is going to want a divorce... physically attacking him won't help her case much... How much could he lose if he had to giver her half? Tiger has made a billion or close to it, but I wonder how much he has left. I bet he would lose at least $100 million.
  4. Are the Hawks just a trade for a great goaltender away from being the Stanley Cup favorites? Maybe they could be the favorites right now, but I would still feel more comfortable with a proven goalie.
  5. The Bulls have a tough road trip. It is always tough. Yes Ben's scoring is going to be hard to overcome, but I am expecting more from Derrick as soon as his ankle fully heals up. I think that Ben's lack of defense is averaged out by the better defense Salmons will play. Give this team some time and I think they will be better than last year's team. Do you really think that a team's talent or lack of talent really draws free agents? I am pretty convinced that the bigger contract offer usually wins out.
  6. What are some of the higher paid coaches in the league? If Cowher wants $10 million, isn't that at least a few million more than the next highest paid coach? If you get Cowher, you gotta get rid of Lovie, and the coordinators and probably most of the other coaches. The pricetag is going to be pretty expensive. I'm not saying that paying all of these guys to get rid of them is impossible, but it is unprecedented from the McCaskey's perspective. Shannahan is going to want GM duties and head coaching duties correct?
  7. It's too bad that you can't take a little jab on a message board.
  8. The trolling crap is getting old. correct, so stop Where were you when I was defending Lovie Smith after the Cincinnati loss? When I said I thought the Bears were going to win in the third quarter in today's game? It's too bad that a poster can't point out the good and the bad in the Bears without a bunch of children critiquing him.
  9. The trolling crap is getting old. Seriously, I haven't been trolling. You telling me I am a troll is getting old. I posted that I thought the Bears were going to win because the defense was playing good and getting turnovers in the third quarter. I also have defended Lovie Smith time and time again. I don't post only negative comments.
  10. I think people have been saying this for a few weeks cause Jay has to check his numbers every time the defense is on the field. People think that because he does it a lot he must be having some problem. Yeah, it's stupid. Reporters are always looking for some inside scoop, even if they look ridiculous. What did Jay say in response? He blew it off and said his diabetes have no effect on his play, and they stay on top of it, almost to a fault. Basically said its ridiculous. I don't think it has a game to game effect, but does it effect him more than a QB who doesn't have it at all?

  12. Donovan giving Jay a nice hickey.
  13. That was a perfect call. It might have lost the Bears the game. i dont know why youre having such a hard time understanding the difference between a bad call and a bad throw. if cutler does his job, that's a touchdown and you're probably praising the call If Cutler does his job....he has only done it a few times this year. Not enough to have confidence in him in that spot considering how he had played so far tonight. And another Bears loss. Man I really did think they had that game in the third quarter.
  14. Maybe not two steps, but I think he could have found a receiver that was open enough.
  15. That was a perfect call. It might have lost the Bears the game. Them running something intermediate might have lost them the game too. That was the right call. The call didn't lose the game. The execution did. As has been said before, you have to look at what your QB has done up to this point. There was a greater probability of completing a 7 yarder than a 40 yarder.
  16. That was a perfect call. It might have lost the Bears the game. Plus, you have to look at where the call happened. You were back in your own zone.
  17. On third and 5, I don't know about that call.
  18. Yes, but Olin has trouble blocking anyone. He is just getting old.
  19. I think the Bears are going to win this game. Man I wish last Thursday's game was a W. The Bears would be in a much better playoff position.
  20. I love it when big time college coaches are said to be role models for young men and build their character. No, big time college coaches are there to get famous, bring in money for the school, win championships, and help people like Rose improve so they can make millions in the NBA.
  21. What did they get for Gasol again? For the longest time I thought his name was Paul Gasol.
  22. The GB game I'll give you, but how the [expletive] does Orton win this game? Orton could have led a TD drive. Just one. The SF defense is nothing to writehome about, at least not tonight.
  23. That has nothing to do with the team or your opinion. That was a straight smug call out statement right after a last-second loss. It had to do with my opinion of other posters and their opinion of the Bears. It was a football related comment. We all criticize each other on this board. I take it all the time but I really don't let it bother me. Neither should you. It was an emotional loss and emotional comments usually occur afterwards.
  24. This is a message board and I can't state my opinion? When you disappear when things go well and your first post is about as inciteful as you can make it, you are either trolling, devoid of logic, or devoid of tact. Which do you prefer to call it? My posts are not devoid of logic. Cutler was terrible. I live in Atlanta and I only watch the national games. It just so happens the Bears have been terrible during those. I try not to post during games I don't see. I'm sorry if you can't take criticism of your team when they are bad. I thought as Cubs fans we would be used to it. Cutler has more talent obviously, but I think it is probable that with Orton the Bears win the GB game and tonight's.
