  1. Rodgers just did a fake grounding of the ball and then threw a pass for a completion. I thought that was illegal (Bears v. Raiders 2011).
  2. I don't care much for hockey until football is over anyway. Maybe I would have watched the Winter Classic, but that would be about the time I would get interested again. This is perfect timing for me.
  3. There really is no doubt that he is the worst journalist running right now. I bet as RG3 was going down to get that snap he thought "Man I'd be able to grab the ball if it wasn't for that crazy Dr we have on the sideline."
  4. There are certain people who come back stronger after knee injuries. They take their fitness to the next level during their rehab. Maybe Rose will.
  5. Frazier did point out that they are trying to make sure Ponder is healthy for next week. The man needs to be at optimum health for his honeymoon I guess.
  6. Ponder is way better than Joe Webb. Ponder actually played pretty well last week.
  7. Ponder officially out. Webb starting tonight and hasn't throw a pass all season. AP is going to have to be absolutely unbelievable to give the Vikings a chance.
  8. The Bulls handled the Heat in the 10-11 regular season too. Didn't fare well against them in a 7 game series.
  9. So the Bulls are $3 million over the cap? Reinsdorf is actually going to pay the luxury tax? Bulls playing very well tonight. Unfortunately Hinrich knocked LeBron into Thibs and and Thibs went down LeBron accidentally grabbed his junk.
  10. Why would he want to go to Cleveland?
  11. As posted on this very page: Nobody is saying anything like "oh, he made Tebow good;" he managed to work with a dramatic (and most would argue largely detrimental) change to the offense. It shows that he's adaptable. Adaptable to a totally different style of offense that the Bears will never play. With that said, I would have died for the 23rd rated offense this year in yards.
  12. Can you really give McCoy much credit for Tebow? Tebow's defense won pretty much every game for them. McCoy did so much for Tebow that Tim was the worst rated passer in the league last year.
  13. Was there a buy out on O'Brien?
  14. There are no rule changes as of yet, but in 2016 the USGA and R&A proposed an anchoring ban on putters. This means that the butt end of the putter cannot be anchored to the body and swing from a fixed point (the belly). Putters that are anchored to the body are being used by more and more amateurs and pros and this supposedly goes against what the governing bodies think a putter stroke should be. There are a number of pros who use this type of putter and stroke: Webb Simpson, Ernie Els, Keegan Bradley, and Adam Scott to name a few. The USGA is hearing responses right now, but the official rule change in 2016 should be finalized in the next few weeks.
  15. Now that the new PGA Tour season is upon is and on primetime for the first two weeks, I thought I'd start a thread. There are some notable equipment changes amongst tour players. Nick Watney, Kyle Stanley, Rory McIlroy, and a few others joining Nike. McIlroy is rumored to be getting a 10 year, $200 million dollar contract from Nike. It will be announced a week from Monday in Dubai. Will Tiger win a major this year? Will Rory be dominant and win multiple majors? Will Sergio, Luke Donald, or Lee Westwood finally win a major? I think the season is going to be exciting and I can't wait for the Hyundai Tournament of Champions to start, if only so that Golf Channel commercial "Here we are, we are the champions" will disappear.
  16. Total opposite of Lovie in that regard.
  17. I expected Urlacher to be cool. He wasn't the biggest fan of dropping back in the cover 2 and getting to congratulate teammates after their tackles.
  18. Matt Abattacola said you're dead to him
  19. From Biggs: http://sulia.com/channel/chicago-bears/f/dbe0b25a-52ce-435c-9153-d59a5a91c593/?source=twitter Emotional Hester: "I have my workers’ comp papers in my pocket. See how I feel ...."go home and talk to my wife, my family," Hester said. "See where we go from there. I’ve got two beautiful kids, man, young. Two boys. A lot of stress has been on my mind lately." WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST DIFFICULT THING? DH: "Not being able to showcase my talent the way I want it to be showcased. Stressful." COULD CHANGE OF SCENERY BE GOOD FOR YOU? DH: "Who knows. If it’s the right place. If not, I feel like I have done enough in the league where I established myself to be one of the elite players ever to play the game. God blessed me for seven years. The average years of an NFL player is about three. I made some accomplishments on my own, some goals I reached. Some more goals are out there I still felt I could achieve."
  20. Devin's so mad he going to start running the right way on punts from now on to get back at Emery
  21. If he retires his cap hit is erased right?
  22. Since the Bears didn't make the NFC Championship game, Lovie had to go in my opinion. But has there ever been a 10-6 coach that got fired before?
  23. Terrible play call there Tice
  24. Hester obviously showing early onset brain problems due to hits to the head
