He took the Cubs job because he thought the Brewers couldn’t get over the hump. Maybe they never do, but I just don’t think Craig cares about the money when you continually get bested by your rival. He should have realized that the Cubs won’t spend what they need to overcome their poor farm system and development. -

But the sides never came close.“ Would have been great to have Parkins back, but I’ve heard he makes 7 figures with Fox and that money is not available anymore on terrestrial sports radio in Chicago.

Mully was getting old and was a little stale. I think the morning show started losing the ratings to 1000 after dominating forever and Mitch Rosen felt a change needed to occur.

No, they just want a fresh start with the new pairing next weel. Give Haugh some vacation before Bears season.

The Chicago Sports Fan Message Board predicted this a few months ago with Mully, but I think it was their assumption that he was going to retire and not get forced out. Bernstein didn’t have a goodbye show for obvious reasons, but I felt Mully should have. There’s talk of Jarrett Payton or Parkins taking the spot.
