I don’t think we’ll see him on the Bears next year. With that said, the Bears have given up over 70 points the last 5 quarters to the Lions, so keeping them out of the end zone is incredible.
Two firsts and DJ Moore. Crosby is due $30 million each of the next two seasons and the Bears don’t have the cap space without shipping off a good player in return. The issue is that the Bears #1s are not very good #1s and that is what the Raiders want. Another team will easily outbid them.
The Packers had a 99% chance late in the game to beat the Bears in Soldier Field. I don’t think anyone is picking the Bears to beat anyone in the playoffs with their defense.
Obviously the defensive line is a problem, but it’s not like the Bears aren’t spending on it. Dayo, Grady, and Montez are getting $55 million this year, but the results haven’t been there.
When a QB acts like he’s going out of bounds so the defender doesn’t hit him but then he stops his momentum and keeps running. I think Caleb took at least one big hit last year from the Lions on a play like that, but Caleb stopped using the fake sideline play this year.
