I have no sympathy for people driving over the legal limit simply because of how much it takes to get there. http://depts.washington.edu/mcsurvey/bal/index.php I'm 21, 6'1", 282. I'm a big guy. And I'm a college student, so I drink a lot and my tolerance is high. Let's say I drink from 10 p.m. to bar close (2 a.m.) -- four hours -- According to the chart (obviously, can never be completely accurate), I can have 10 drinks and be under the legal limit (I'd be at .069). To be THREE TIMES over the legal limit, I'd need 20 drinks in 2 hours. Look at the chart then consider defending someone driving drunk. To be over a .008 you need to consume a lot of alcohol, to even think about driving over the legal limit and especially three times over is completely idiotic. Also, the ripping on hawkeyecub is completely unfounded. Three beers won't do anything for anyone, even if you're drinking for the first time ... although I'd doubt you could finish them as you won't like the taste. Rest In Peace.
