  1. Yeah, I'd rather be the 4 than the 6. The committee won't care that you beat Indiana
  2. Damn you Thibs http://i56.tinypic.com/153br7r.jpg He has to have Coach of the Year pretty much locked, right? I've heard Collins and Hollins bandied about as well, but I think Thibs is a runaway.
  3. Bleacher traffic could be a problem You'd think they would divert the bleacher line exclusively down Waveland on these days. Right. So they'd have to keep one of either Sheff or Waveland open, is my point They need to keep Waveland specifically open because of the firehouse. Well I'll just shut up then.
  4. You'll have to find your way to the Forest Park blue line stop. Ah ok. And take it to the Illinois Medical District stop? Any idea how far the UC is from that stop? Walking distance, or do we need to grab a cab from there? Thanks for the help It's about a 3-4 block walk from that stop. I'm not sure how close you'd be to a bus service to get to the Forest Park stop, you'd probably be best off cabbing it to Forest Park
  5. You'll have to find your way to the Forest Park blue line stop.
  6. The Bulls/Celtics ECF should bring renewed vigor
  7. And as somebody who read this thread before clicking over to the game, color me shocked the Bulls were winning
  8. I hope it hit the rim just so Neil Funk can be wrong about something....AGAIN
  9. Old Dominion and St. Peter's are in
  10. He's ugly. And he's a professional athlete that is in terrible shape. How does that happen? Haters gon hate was my reason for the stabbing, not saying that to you. I wouldn't say Pierce is in terrible shape. He's not Lebron, but he's not Scal either. I guess you could say the same thing about his ugliness (he's no Scal), but yeah, pretty damn ugly
  11. How low do the people against signing Pujols expect the payroll to drop?
  12. I'd really rather ODU not blow this
  13. Yep, I'm guessing that'll be a near consensus. Probably a few votes thrown Battle's way rather than Moore. Maybe Buford? I'd give POY to Johnson. Agreed, pretty clear cut this year. Freshman team? Sullinger, Basabe, Richmond, Hardaway, Craft? I'm not sure Richmond even makes it. Sullinger, Basabe, Craft for sure. Then 2 of Richmond, Hardaway, and Morgan
  14. well, the fact marcus morris wasn't a consensus first teamer is absurd on its own, so I'm not comfortable using that as a reason to eliminate him from contention. Maybe he shot one of the voters with a BB gun
  15. GET OUT OF TOWN I'm sure you're shocked.... at least i put some reasoning in there.... gotta give me some credit. But your logic wasn't consistent. You said you had to be consensus all-conference to win player of the year, then you put 2 non-consensus players ahead of the guy from Colorado
  16. GET OUT OF TOWN
  17. I thought it was kind of a cool idea when they did it for NU alums before the football game, but that one block isn't going to hold many people. Why not extend it down to Clark on Waveland?
  18. Yep, I'm guessing that'll be a near consensus. Probably a few votes thrown Battle's way rather than Moore. Maybe Buford? I'd give POY to Johnson.
  19. Robbie Hummel
  20. How much less could he shoot if he's within 2.5 points of him?
  21. ...by the bye? 2nd only to UIC in terms of biggest upset of the year
  22. I'm guessing that doesn't look much different than Illinois' resume. We have the bad loss to UIC and probably better overall wins against Gonzaga and UNC, same conference record, and got blasted by OSU at their place. And we're virtually a lock. Illinois is 19th in Pomeroy and has 3 nonconference wins better than PSU's best. (+ an overtime loss to Texas) Their conference resumes are virtually identical, but as was the case in '09, it's PSU's cupcake nonconference schedule that will likely do them in. I will say on further review, if they can play Purdue tight in a BTT semi (after beating Wisconsin) they should be squarely on the bubble.
  23. So you're saying Illinois has a chance.
