  1. I WANT HIM TO REST HIS ANKLE
  2. Too many whities out there.
  3. Great. 2 fouls on Abrams means 8 minutes of SamMan time.
  4. Not to be confused with Sam Maniscalco who is a bad player.
  5. POMEROY REFERENCE~!
  6. I feel like Ralph Sampson hasn't improved at all since first setting foot on campus.
  7. i'm certainly not counting on it. they haven't beaten anyone on the road. the blown second half leads @ ku and home vs. missouri could come back to haunt them. and the drake loss. That Drake loss came on November 15th. I don't think the selection committee will hold it against them that much if they keep playing well the rest of the season. They certainly should hold it against them. It's body of work, not how they play at the end of the season.
  8. Meyers is a bad man.
  9. Texas has shot about 12% from the line down the stretch.
  10. And can I point out that neither Rickert nor Peeler "kicked Garnett's ass?" In fact KG was the one who punched out Rickert.
  11. I hear he was the one who broke Ronnie Fields's neck.
  12. I thought that's what the Bulls thread was for. No that's for Pacers fans to talk rivalries.
  13. Fight smart, not hard. Remember when Rick Rickert kicked his ass at practice, so KG got him cut? Bar Fight baby! Oh, he was probably really good then since he outplayed Garnett at one practice. I bet he latched on to another team really quickly. ETA: Whoops, started 31 NBDL games over 3 years.
  14. Imagine that Christina Kahrl hating a move.
  15. Fight smart, not hard.
  16. In this post, SpongeWorthy pretends he's from the street: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=60457&start=262
  17. Matt Roth has a hilarious 181.3 ORtg buoyed by an absurd 61% shooting on 3s, a 4.8% TORate (would be 2nd in the country) if he qualified by minutes) and 13-13 from the line.
  18. LeBron and Garnett were prodigies. It's not really comparable. Add in that the stuff Love excels at is pretty boring. He's Tim Duncan on a bad team.
  19. Even though the Pacers won the first two matchups fairly easily, I don't feel that great about this matchup. George struggles most defensively with guys like Allan and one of these games both Pierce and Allan will play well. The Pacers have won the first two games by dominating the boards, but while they are a good rebounding team they are inconsistent with it. Allen's probably a 50-50 shot to play today. Though it looks like Rondo won't...getting mildly concerned about him.
  20. And a [expletive] load of other people to play with. Baseball shouldn't be trying to win the war vs basketball for youths, football is the true enemy here.
  21. Has anyone discussed the effect scheduling will have on records? I just checked the Celtics schedule. They play the Bulls, Heat, Knicks, Raptors, Wizards, and Pacers 4 times each this season. They get the Lakers, Thunder, and Mavs 2 times each. (All others in East are 3 apiece, 1 apiece in West) Getting those extra games against the Raptors and Wizards is nice obviously, but damn that looks like a tough draw.
  22. This Pacers game tonight is fairly big. Following this we have an easy stretch coming up, where we should really go 6-2(though with an older team, with their tendency to take some nights off, I'm not writing anything in stone.) We'll have 2 road games(Raptors and Cavs), and only 2 games vs teams with winning records (Lakers and Grizz) Win tonight, take the 6-2 record, and we're sitting 15-11 heading into Bulls week.
  23. Haven't we been pretty split the past few years? Also we steamrolled everyone for about a decade. You saying we had no rivalries then? Beating a team does not = steamroll. Obviously you had a rivalry with the Knicks. Can you really recall any memory from games with those Zo Heat teams, let alone the Glen Rice Heat teams? If the Bulls have a current rivalry, it's with the Celtics, this seems pretty obvious.
  24. They played a lot, but it's not like anything was hotly contested. Steamrolling a team year after year doesn't mean you have a rivalry with them.
