they did fireworks for the ku game and they went really well, besides the lingering smoke in the upper bowl for part of the first half. this one looked like a nightmare though. Haha, I was going to make a joke about them avoiding fireworks displays because of the shitty quality of the ESPN3 video. Maybe it really was smoke distorting my view.

come on, don't make me be one of those cyclone fans that hate iowa. their rpi was like 127 before the illinois loss. it would have been very hard for them to crack the top 100 even if they had won out + one in the tourney. i don't care how bad the bubble is, you don't go to the tournament losing to campbell, clemson and nebraska at home. He was probably talking about the fact that the committee doesn't look at trash stats like RPI anymore.

I've never predicted 70 point losses(Though I would've nailed a few games in '09 with that prediction), just hoped for them. Unless you were talking about Illinois. But we only lose like that to powerhouses like Nebraska.
