That was pretty far off the plate! It wasn't that far off the plate! You can't take that pitch in that situation. You just can't. I wouldn't fault anyone for not swinging at that pitch. Ordinarily, I'd agree, but I'd want him expanding with the worthless Ted Lilly on deck. -

Probably not. You have to be an above average defender for a few years before you win one it seems. That or be Derek Jeter. Gun to my head without doing any real research, I'd say it's Zimmerman.

Reason #142 why the Cubs won't make the playoffs courtesy of erik316. Wow, I have a fan. I said "If they don't beat the Reds, they don't deserve to make the playoffs." I did NOT say "They won't beat the Reds and therefore won't make the playoffs." Reading comprehension is your friend. And I'm only up to reason # 129, thank you very much. You did say the other night they wouldn't go to the playoffs becuase of the game which was still going on. Of course they won, but yeah.
