  1. Who wants to find me an online broadcast of this Illinois game?
  2. So I might not have to go to Detroit if we beat you Saturday??
  3. Defend this madness now.
  4. Targeting Utley in an offseason trade.
  5. I'd rather have Aldridge, Hawes, and junk than Rose, Thomas, and Noah.
  6. That was Northern Iowa.
  7. Purdue should destroy BC.
  8. All big-conference champs get in regardless of rank. At-large teams have to be in the top 12 (or in the top 14 if any big-conference champs are outside the top 14). Well yeah, it's just easier for you if the BCS champs are in the top 12(don't know where I got 16 from) to take up spots that could otherwise go to an at-large team.
  9. Ok, I think I understand. I'm just working off memory here, it's top 16 teams that are eligible correct? So the top 16 would have to be made up of USC, PSU, ACC Champ, BE champ, SEC teams, Big XII teams, and non-BCS schools correct?
  10. Essentially no. Utah over BYU, Nevada over Boise, and your boys at UM must all win this weekend for there to be one. Without looking at the standings, wouldn't BYU jump you with the win? Ball St. needs BYU to lose so they'd jump ahead of BYU. Ok, without looking at the standings, isn't Utah pretty clearly ahead of Ball State already? Isn't there only a 1 team requirement for non-BCS schools?

  12. which Big Ten bottom feeder do you think you'd cream? Whoever your 7th bowl team is since that's who would go. Right now Minnesota and Illinois are tied for 6th. If someone wants to state a case that they'd kill us, be my guest. (Keeping in mind a much better Illinois team beat a much worse Ball State team by 11 last year.) I really hope a 6-6 Big Ten team doesn't go to a bowl game, and if they do, I hope and undefeated Ball St. draws a better matchup If Illinois wins and OSU and PSU go BCS, they'll be playing in Detroit. I don't think Ball St. creams any Big Ten bowl team. The lesser Big Ten teams certainly wouldn't kill Ball St. either, but I wouldn't be stunned to see Illinois, Minnesota, or Wisconsin beat them. I think Minnesota is the worst of the bunch, and Ball St. would be able to handle them. Illinois and Wisconsin I'd call a coin flip. Tossing out stuff like BSU only losing by 11 last year to Illinois is a pretty worthless stat. It's just as easy to say Purdue beat CMU by the same amount BSU did this year.
  13. 0.2 I don't even know what it was supposed to mean. It means IMB! is a 16-year old japanese girl with a wicked knuckleball So he knew IMB was a 16 year old girl with a wicked knuckleball...
  14. BUT HE WENT 0 FOR 56 IN THOSE "EXTRA" ABs IS IT HONESTLY YOUR BELIEF THAT IF LEE HAD 56 MORE ABs THAT YEAR HE'D HAVE GONE 0 FOR 56 IN THEM??? AHHHHHHHHH
  15. I just knew it was going to get sucked down that road. I've never even seen the movie and I wasn't referencing it.
  16. Thomas & Noah or Aldridge and Hawes. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
  17. Based on expected return vs. real value, I think Rich Harden would be the last player in the organization I would trade. Soto? He's saying based on the level of true value we'd get for him. He's not saying he's the last guy he'd want to trade Yep, we'd get a mint in return for Soto. We wouldn't get a fair return for one of the best pitchers in baseball because of injury concerns.
  18. 0.2 I don't even know what it was supposed to mean.
  19. Love this guy.
  20. Nobody's really touched on Mateo yet, just throwing out there that his rosterring is probably dumber than Berg's.
  21. What a dumbass playcall.
  22. I can't see how he can even try to say that. because he's right Not really. Killing your wife and trying to buy a team are not connected on the surface, but committing a crime can easily derail your bid. Insider trading may be less serious than murder, but committing unethical and/or illegal business practices are actually much closer related to trying to buy a baseball team. Pretty much. Everything's in play. It doesn't really matter if it "isn't connected." Everything will be taken into account, including accusations made by the SEC. I don't see how this guy can try to make the argument that something like insider trading charges won't be considered by the MLB owners. Obviously they will be. DeBartolo's business dealings is pretty much the reason he's not White Sox owner. Cuban's cooked unless he can prove compete innocence, and even then.
