I'm actually admiring the updated google analytics that give me a real-time view of page views as they're happening. Extremely cool. So I was refreshing the thread when I saw that post. There's also currently 41 other st louis fans browsing the thread right now. That makes sense. There's no reason for them to be out at a bar celebrating or anything...

Yes, Tony LaRussa is a saint and has never done anything to besmirch the great respect the Cardinals deserve. Oh wait..... All they do is win, win, win ... Oh, so it's wins and losses now. I thought we were talking about respectability and morality like you had mentioned earlier.

Everybody occasionally falls asleep behind the wheel stopped at a red light cause they had a glass of wine and are tired. Right? Not drunk, just sleepy.

If you were the lover of all that is true and pure about baseball that you claim you are you'd be annoyed at a much [expletive] team winning thanks to really [expletive] managing. We would love it were this our much [expletive] team winning thanks to really [expletive] managing. I save my irrational hatred for the White Sox. Well that makes sense, considering they are in a different league than we are and we only play them 6 times a year instead of 18 times.

I will be amazed if Carpenter survives the season next year. I'll be surprised if he survives the night. Post game party at Tony's house, drinks provided in vehicles on the way.

LaRussa is sticking with Carpenter after 88 pitches through 6 innings on 3 days rest. If the Rangers are doing this, have to jump on Carpenter next inning.

This Cardinal team is way better than the last version to win the World Series. That's not saying very much considering the last Cardinals team to win the World Series was the worst ever.

I know I shouldn't be greedy, what with all the good things we've had come our way lately, but is it too much to ask to see the entire city of St. Louis devestated, including those puds Joe Buck, Tim McCarver, Jim Edmonds, Tony LaRussa, Ryan Theriot, and Chris Carpenter. I want a Vancouver style meltdown of crushed dreams and city-wide angst.

Well silly us, that's obviously public knowledge and we must be ignorant for not knowing. Not really an excuse to be an ass about something like that whether you knew of her transgender status or not. In what way was I an ass? Somebody said she still sounds like a dude and I said that can't be her voice.
