When your only NL option is the Brewers, rooting for the Cardinals is clearly the better choice. Were in the minority in this thinking. The Cardinals already have enough bragging rights over us that another World Series would just be gravy. The Brewers gives yet another team those bragging rights. Besides, when I get [expletive] from a Brewers fan about the Cubs failures at least with them you can ask when they won their last World Series. We're running out of teams we can use that argument with. I can't help but feel this same way. The Brewers are definitely a more likeable team, but I really don't need another fan base to give me crap. Especially here in the Chicago area, where there are just as many, if not more, Brewer fans as Cardinal fans. As much as I dislike the Cardinals, I think I have to reluctantly root for them. I would much rather both teams play to a never ending tie.
