Does anyone believe Vitters would have fared better if Theo had been around when he was drafted? It's still a bit puzzling to me a guy as talented as he is couldn't figure it out. I mean, his bat speed/control is so impressive, yet, he could never get the idea of plate discipline down? His defense at 3B sure never helped either. However, I guess I just don't understand how he never amounted to becoming a regular in the majors. Especially, with the black holes we've been running out there at 3B (minus Valbeauna who I like). The lack of power was a bit alarming too. Vitters is like a poor mans Howie Kendrick, but doesn't have the value of playing 2B.
