    Donovan Tate is killing Boise :banghead: -- 4/5 with 3 RBI Golden has doubled in a run however. DeVoss is 0/2 with two walks.. I really like his approach. Vitters continues to hit as mentioned above -- walkoff single and a 2 RBI game. .288 average on the year now.

    Simpson smacked around again. 1ip / 2 ER / 3 hits / 2 Ks / 0 BB 8.56 ERA in the AZL.... I will not waste the 12 seconds looking up one of his boxscores again.

    Vitters bat is really coming alive. .287 average on the year.. Finish hitting .300 please!

    I am still a big believer in Vitters bat. I still believe his bat will plug in at LF when it's all said and done.

    Baez, Vogelbach, Maples, Dunston Jr. add them to your Cubs top 10 prospect list. This is pretty incredible if they are in fact all signed. Another 2012 draft class like this and we can be loaded with talent. Such refreshing/exciting news.

    The stuff I've read on Trey Williams is pretty exciting. Talks about just crazy bat speed. Would love to add another bat like that to the system.

    We do, they're just not quite ready to pitch in the majors yet. Trey McNutt would have probably been up by now and almost certainly would be better than the Ortiz/Davis/Bush/etc group. However, McNutt has spent two stints on the DL and is just now coming back from (I think) a rib issue. There are a number of other guys who are better than that group of vets, but it doesn't really make sense to rush those guys up right now because they're not completely ready and still quite young. Obviously McNutt is more talented than the garbage we have been running out there lately, but he's not ready/injured. Other than that, it's sad that we have no other SP prospects that are ready / close to ready in the farm. I think you would have a hard time finding many farm systems worse off with starting pitching arms being ready. I mean, Jay Jackson should be the guy, but he's had a pretty tragic season. Outside of that, what is on the horizon? Struck? He hasn't fared well in his promotion.

    It's pretty sad we have nothing in the farm pitching wise that is better than Bush/Lopez, etc.

    If we sign Maples, Vogelbach, Dunston along with Baez, I will nut. Maples is going to be good. I would prefer Maples to Vogelbach tbh.. Exciting to hear about Vogelbach rumored to be signed..

    Am I reading this right? You would trade Marmol for Colby Rasmus? He's a career .259 hitter, doesn't get on base at a real good level, doesn't steal bases, and is only a 20 HR power guy. I've got to believe you're massively overrating his trade value.. Maybe I am wrong? I mean, I think Jackson could be brought up and put up similar numbers w/ a bit less power.

    Where would Baez start if signed soon? I am hoping for: Baez Vogelbach 2 of: Maples, Dunston, Jacquez Along with the international signings that would be a great class.
