  1. He's getting shipped in the offseason if that happens. The Canuck fans will never forgive him. All the pressure is on 7unogo.
  2. Ryan Kesler guaranteed victory during an interview on VS
  3. At what point if you're Vancouver do you consider starting Schneider? Luongo has been an absolute dog these past 2 games. Schneider is pretty good and Luongo has become a mental midget against the Hawks.

  5. Only if meth comes with it
  6. Is Mike Shaw good enough to beat out Griffey for the 4 spot? His highlight video is pretty impressive: attacks and plays above the rim, good outside shot, and nice vision on his passing. We could use a player like that in the lineup. I've never been impressed in the action I saw of Griffey. He does have some range on his shot, but he's limited offensively and doesn't bring much on the defensive end. He's also a turnover machine and stone hands. Outside of the Maryland game where he hit 3 3's, I can't recall him doing anything this past year.
  7. What the hell is wrong with Garza? He is a solid #2, high end 3 guy. The prospects the Cubs gave up aren't elite talents and 'can't miss' guys. In return you netted a quality starting pitcher who is an innings eater with years left on his contract. Anytime you get a chance to make a trade like that you do it. That is unless you can package those prospects for a player of greater value. You can always replace guys like Archer, Lee, and Guyer through solid drafting and player development.
  8. Per the Illinois Scout board, Jereme Richmond is heading to the NBA. Bummer
  9. I know. I don't think Richmond comes back. That, and with Head drastically improving, Illinois will start 4 guards a la Villanova in 2005-2006. Leonard is going to find himself in foul trouble a lot next year so Egwu is going to get immense amounts of playing time to prove himself. I'm excited to see what the freshmen can bring to the table next year, particularly Henry. I also hope Bruce doesn't start Griffey just because he is a junior.
  10. Might as well Big Ten: 1. Wisconsin 2. Illinois 3. Ohio State 4. Purdue 5. Michigan State 6. Michigan 7. Indiana 8. Iowa 9. Northwestern 10. Nebraska 11. Minnesota 12. Penn State Way too early Final Four: Kentucky (champion) Duke UCLA Louisville Illinois starting lineup: PG: Abrams SG: Richardson SF: Paul PF: Head C: Leonard
  11. Marshall being used as a LOOGY? He's got good enough stuff to finish the inning. Does he have poor splits vs. righties?
  12. I'm excited to see what Dunn can do in USCF
  13. McCamey needs to start knocking down some shots. You can't beat a team like Kansas without heating up from 3.
  14. At least you got Kendall Stephens coming in
  15. Now this is what I signed up for. I love the minutes Crandall is giving right now. Can't wait till he finds a jumper.
  16. DJ's best attribute was his 3 pt shooting. It's gone now. Head provides better defense and more athleticism than DJ so he should be playing. Whatever happened to DJ being 'just as good of a shooter as Jamar Smith'? I need to stop going to the scout board.
  17. Illinois is on a mission today. I like it
  18. too much basketball, not enough TVs
  19. Arkansas?
  20. I'm calling it now: Indiana beats Wisconsin tonight. Also, Tom Crean will not whoop it up concourse afterwards.
  21. I'm just not real comfortable with Bielfeldt being in the rotation next year. It's already asking a lot for Shaw and Egwu to be contributors from the word go. Has Bielfeldt even committed yet?
  22. Yes, he should be shot for not taking this team of 5-star recruits to the Final 4 by now. Who said anything about a final 4? He should be winning more than 1 out of 6 Big Ten games, protecting the home court better, and beating Iowa or Northwestern at least once in year 3, however.
  23. That banked 3 by Gasser most likely ended Michigan's tournament chances. Between Evan Turner's prayer and Gasser's 3, Michigan basketball sure has mastered the art of getting nut punched. And Tom Crean's Big 10 record is 8-43? That's just preposterously miserable.
