  1. I think it's up to Purdue -9.5.
  2. Do you guys have any predictions for the Illinois / Purdue game tonight? There is a lot on the line for both teams. For Purdue it's obvioulsy senior night. They have their first undefeated home record in decades if they win tonight. Possibly a shot at a share of the Big Ten title... tournament seeding... I always seem to pick Purdue to lose because I'm a pessimist. It's going to be sad to see E'Twaun and JJ play their last game at Mackey. They made our program relevant again.
  3. Yikes! Does that make Texas a 3 seed?
  4. Thanks Tim McCarver less than two weeks ago they were routed by West Virginia...
  5. If they play like tonight, yeah, they'll be a contender.
  6. that was pretty and a beatdown
  7. So... I got another project assigned at work today... I'll watch from the sidelines. You guys do a great job.
  8. Nice garbage goal there.
  9. lol, Notre Dame is 20-32 from 3-point range tonight. I like how they keep chucking them up, up 30 with a few minutes left. Oh wait, they're only up 23 now. Better shoot some more 3's.
  10. I'd like to try this but I'm pretty swamped at work lately. If it's ok to do most of my updating after 5PM central I'm in for sure. I can probably do an update in the morning too. If you get 10 others with plenty of time, I've got no problem letting someone with more time have my spot. Purdue
  11. I still haven't seen Chris Kramer on the Big Ten Icons list. Magic is this week, is Kramer going to be #1?
  12. Ugly game in East Lansing.
  13. Does this mean that Mizzou doesn't foul more than any team in America?
  14. I hope Purdue can be the top #2 seed and be in BYU's bracket. A win at MSU tomorrow would help.
  15. Down goes Dook!
  16. Tubby leaving Minnesota after the season? DeChellis out if Penn St. doesn't make the tourney? http://insider.espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/blog?name=ncbexperts&id=6161657
  17. #5 Texas, #6 San Diego St., #10 Arizona (twice), #11 Georgetown (twice), #13 Florida, #14 UConn, #15 Villanova (twice), #18 Vanderbilt, #20 Missouri, #22 Kentucky, #24 Temple. One of #4 Pitt/ #16 Louisville will lose tomorrow, and I think #8 Purdue will lose tomorrow. It would be nice to see Duke lose tonight too.
  18. http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/teamphotos/ncaab/20110223/Purdue_Indiana_Basketball.sff_57096_game.jpg
  19. haha, yeah. Purdue up a dozen with three to play and the crowd is chanting overrated? I guess Purdue should've been winning by 20?
  20. I hear the student section is going to chant 'Banner Up' - jabbing at 'Boiler Up'. Which is amusing considering none of the players and most of the students at IU weren't alive the last time IU won a championship. It's a huge game for me, half of my high school friends went to IU. Lots of [expletive] talking going to be going on tonight. Especially since I've rubbed the last few victories in. \:D/
  21. I've got a real bad feeling about the Purdue/IU game tonight. This is their biggest game of the year. If they win, I pray they storm the court.
  22. He's [expletive] crazy. If they fire him next year, it's going to be like Christmas for Purdue fans. They'll lose those monster recruiting classes they have coming in and who the hell is going to take that coaching job? He isn't getting fired next year. He has a 10 year contract and his 2012 recruiting class will buy him more time if nothing else. Yeah, he's not getting fired. It's absurd to even discuss it. However, he really should keep his mouth shut about this -- or complain in a more dignified, less petulant manner. The guy is the laughingstock of the league. Tell me one coach in the Big Ten thats less respected outside of his own program right now? Also, I heard Collin Hartman was at Mackey on Sunday watching Purdue beat Ohio State. That's odd.
  23. He's [expletive] crazy. If they fire him next year, it's going to be like Christmas for Purdue fans. They'll lose those monster recruiting classes they have coming in and who the hell is going to take that coaching job?
  24. If Weber goes to the bench and runs OSU up and down the floor they will beat them Tuesday. Especially with OSU only having one day off between games.
  25. They've been blown out by three un-ranked teams in their last 10. They're 19th in the Pomeroy rankings. They shouldn't be a 2 or a 3. St. John's has beaten four top 10 teams this year at home and ND was without its 2nd best player in that game as well as the Marquette game you reference. I think that's a valid data point especially since every Purdue fan I know has pissed and moaned all year about Hummel being injured. So, you justify your bitching by referencing how pissy and moany Purdue fan bitching is? I wonder if their 2nd best player was out for the other beat-downs ND has received this year? I think their average margin of loss is close to 20.
