lol Purdue. Down 12 and lucky they're not down 30. Love the 4-11 free throw shooting. Such a spastic team. Maybe they'll come back you never know with this group.

Oh, and Wisconsin has only beaten Purdue two times at Mackey, in the history of Mackey, which I believe was built in 67'.

If Purdue didn't suck at free throw shooting I would be reasonably confident based on the way Bucky has been playing. That being said, in consecutive order, we beat the crap out of Illinois, got whipped by Penn St. and then beat up Minny on the road. So, they could kill Bucky or get blown out tonight, I'm just feeling a low scoring gritfest.

Also, with last night's 9-19 FT shooting performance, Purdue is now shooting 61.4% from the FT line for the year (58.6% in conference play). That puts us 321st out of 345 nationally, and dead last in the B1G.

Ken Pomeroy needs to do some serious work on his rankings formula. Wisconsin is still ranked #2 this morning. I know its based heavily on their non-conference blowouts, but they're almost a quarter of the way through their B1G schedule already.

Purdue continues an up and down season today with an up. Other than a few hiccups against Minny's pressure and the usual poor free throw shooting, they whipped Minny on the road. I honestly have no idea what to expect against Whisky on Thursday and anyone who lays money on this team is out of their [expletive] mind.
