  1. 10 offensive rebounds already.
  2. Gotta just let them dunk that one.
  3. Kevin young murdered down low. But Hummel is just killing us, and I knew he would. He's exactly the kind of guy who would destroy us. These refs are spastic. Guys get clubbed, no call. Then they call a touch foul.
  4. It's going to take the night of Robbie's life.
  5. Hummel clubbed on the baseline.
  6. Now the refs calling everything...
  7. Sandi Marcius the Croatian Nightmare
  8. Yah, that was a goaltend.
  9. Don't worry. This is like Hester returning the opening kickoff against the Colts.
  10. A power substation caught on fire in West Lafayette a few minutes ago leaving most of West Lafayette without power for tonight.
  11. At least Robinson doesn't have to worry about Kelsey Barlow's nuts in his face. :-" I wonder how many times Sullinger had to rinse to get rid of that flavor? Man that was an awesome dunk. Gone from the team 10 days later. I sat about ten feet from Barlow at the Indianapolis Tech sectional game between Cathedral and Roncalli a couple weeks ago. I want to say I feel bad for the kid, but Painter gave him a lot of chances. Were people asking him about it?
  12. At least Robinson doesn't have to worry about Kelsey Barlow's nuts in his face. :-" I wonder how many times Sullinger had to rinse to get rid of that flavor? Man that was an awesome dunk. Gone from the team 10 days later. Has pu been affected much by his departure? Are they better/worse/the same since he's been gone? They're less talented but he was divisive in the locker room. Ryne Smith, one of our three Seniors called it addition by subtraction. He was our best on ball defender and I think he was third in scoring. We're down to 10 scholarship players (well, a walk-on has one but he never plays) and a redshirt freshman Anthony Johnson has picked up his minutes.

  14. They also won at Michigan. But... They got waxed by MSU and IU on the road. Both of those game marked by periods of horrific shooting. I know MSU was a 1-23 stretch.
  15. I feel dirty for thinking it but I kind of hope Purdue wins. :-k Now the Purdue Rivals guy is saying Marcius will start. 6' 9" 260lbs of hack-a-Robinson.
  16. Purdue people saying tonight's going to be a Kansas home game. I was hoping some Mizzou fans would stay around to cheer for the upset. I guess the Florida and Norfolk St. ( obviously) crowds are small too. Word is that Purdue is going with the mid-major style lineup of 4 guards and Hummel.
  17. Gottlieb's bracket is in the 7th percentile. He's a fraud (I'm not talking about credit card theft either).
  18. Meh, Georgetown isn't that great . . . that result is hardly surprising. Kansas still has North Carolina in its region. I'm assuming this will be like every year and South Florida will make it through the top of that region. Every [expletive] year their region falls apart. So you'll be cheering for Purdue tonight?
  19. Meh, Georgetown isn't that great . . . that result is hardly surprising. Kansas still has North Carolina in its region. Yeah, but the next two round are in St. Louis, right?
  20. Really? I would love to see that. I guess Hollowell would get his minutes?
  21. He's still on scholarship. He's working to return next year and is evidently improving. I'm assuming he'll be back. If you're asking me if I expect him to ever play and be a factor again, then my answer would be no. Just looking at scholarship situation. I don't want to get into the whole 'Creaning' thing but IU is at 15 or 14 if Roth is gone, right? I actually think Roth is a pretty useful role player but it seems like a lot of IU fans want him gone. Jurkin to prep school if Zeller stays?
  22. Is Maurice Creek still on scholarship? Is he 'retired' from all the injuries? Will he be back next year?
  23. Nice dunk by Gordon!
  24. Smart is going to coach circles around Crean but IU's got more talent. Should be a good game. I think IU will win, but I picked against VCU every time last year and was wrong. This was damn near true until the 14:00 mark-give or take- of the second half. VCU missed a ton of shots after that, but Smart got in his own way, imo. They had 57 points at that time, only to score 4 more the rest of the way. He obviously knows his team better than I do, but with 5:00 or so left, he called a timeout (with a 6 or 7 point lead) after IU turned it over on a held ball on a Zeller shot attempt. I thought for sure he was prepping his guys for one last full court blitz to put the game away. Instead, they continued to run clock and put up contested shots, effectively killing all momentum. IU stole this one. You can't blame Smart for all the bricked open shots or below 50% FT shooting. He did take his foot off the gas too early it seemed. Woulda coulda shoulda.... How do you think you guys will do against Kentucky? I still predict an IU Final 4 as a sign of the apocalypse.
  25. Colorado meltdown.
