  1. If stars don't matter, why did you make that post last week demonstrating that KSU would be good based simply on height, weight, hometown and star rating? Especially when they were almost all 3 star guys? Because once upon a time Jacob Pullen was a 3* player.
  2. Whoa, all I did was talk trash about KSU. What's wrong with that? I did take a shot at you for trying to say that Mike Anderson is as dirty as Bob Huggins. That was pure ignorance. I have no issue admitting that Missouri has problems. I don't think the other three or four Mizzou fans do, either. Although if they truly are mediocre, then KSU losing by 16 should be a blemish on their resume. Oh yeah, Denmon > Pullen
  3. Whose faces have been put on the guys from "Goodfellas"?
  4. About the Heat: they have five weeks to get straightened out, they have two good wins since Christmas (LA, Orlando) and they are clearly inferior to the Celtics and Bulls. And despite the fact that they have LeBron, Wade and Bosh and are going to win 55 games, they can't even get a good crowd to a Sunday matinee against one of the best teams in the league. I just don't think LeBron could honestly say so far that it's all been worth it.
  5. This is all true except for calling Missouri's system "junk." There's nothing radical or unusual about full-court pressure. And that junk system forced Kansas to eclipse their turnover average by the half. I thought the officiating was poor for both teams, but the game highlighted nearly all of Missouri's deficiencies: regression from English, inconsistency in the paint and poor shot selection. Defense from the guards was better, but they still miss Tiller/Taylor and Missouri's defense won't be at the level it was two years ago until they get another Tiller.
  6. Eight points in 12 minutes.
  7. I want someone to just walk up and punch Thomas Robinson in the [expletive] face.
  8. What a close to the half. Now I fully expect Kansas to open up on a 20-4 run
  9. I want the Morris twins to go far, far away.
  10. At some point Missouri is gonna have to hit an open shot.
  11. Man I love Marcus Denmon. He's like the anti-English.
  12. Great start for the Pressey brothers against KU.
  13. Heh, first I say Johnson has been crap then he helps get the biggest defensive play of the game. Although Marvin Williams stuffing Rose was huge, too. Wow.
  14. The Hawks should be thankful Marvin Williams showed up because Joe Johnson has been crap. Great pick and roll. That hurts.
  15. Good flop by Horford.
  16. Uh the Bulls have some really strong inside defense. I like it. Al Horford's jump shot is ugly.
  17. Lunardi has them a 7-seed playing Marquette, with Purdue waiting in the next round. That's a nasty draw.
  18. I didn't get to see the Mizzou-Nebraska abortion. How bad was their defense?
  19. He spent considerable time at the 2 the previous two seasons, but was playing the 3 this season. He's been better at the 3. Ronnie hasn't been very good covering small forwards in his career. It'd be best to leave him guarding 2s.
  20. To be fair, nebraska has only lost two home games this year--KU and KSU. I don't know how confident I'd be of a road win there if I were a Mizzou fan. I'm not confident at all. Mizzou is awful on the road and Doc Sadler's teams give them hell. But for a KSU fan to start chest-beating because they took down a tanking Texas team with a stupid coach, well that's just hilarious.
  21. Five days ago KSU was struggling to win at Nebraska. Nobody fears them.
  22. Corey could come in to provide decent defense (he's not elite, or even as good as Deng), but he's still good enough where there wouldn't be a noticeable drop-off.
  23. Chad Ford has questions about his rebounding.
  24. Thabo is a beast on D.
