What was said? Paraphrasing . . . Anthony said IU shouldn't be a No. 1. Gottlieb said compare the resumes, including Gonzaga, citing IU's road wins. Davis cited Gonzaga's undefeated WCC record. Gottlieb asked what their record would be in another conference, like the Big Ten. Davis lamely said they would have had the "chance" for better wins. Gottlieb responded with "like at home to Illinois?" Ouch. That's a pretty good smackdown by Gottlieb.
