  1. Shocking to see Beckham at 5th for that.
  2. Yea, except that game is going to be over by halftime. Flacco will just be handing the ball off the entire 2nd half. I much rather have Ray Rice going tonight than him. We'll see though. I left so many points on my bench this week, no one to blame but myself.
  3. ditto in my other league. Lost by 4 points. The other guy had Mike Wallace too. So if Mendenhall scored or Wallace didn't I would have won
  4. Yea, Flacco had a terrible game. Found out Westbrook wasn't playing much too late yesterday to sit him and the political bs in Dallas only got Miles Austin 4 balls thrown his way all game. Ugh.
  5. Moved into 2nd place despite everyone on my teams best effort to not score points. Looking forward to my epic match up with NCCubfan next week.
  6. Well a #1 WR against the Raiders is usually rough going due to Asomugha. But Maclin has a #2 or #3 should get chances.
  7. Ramirez's 8th inning home run against the Phillies last year (2008) in September always comes quickly to mind. I've never heard Wrigley that loud before..I definitely took a big drink of Santo's 'It's gonna happen' juice that night.
  8. I've got: To pick 2 of, Darren Sproles against Denver, Ryan Grant against Detroit or Rashard Mendenhall against Cleveland Also picking 1 of: Chris Henry against Houston, Jeremy Maclin against Oakland or Mohamed Massaquoi against Pittsburgh. I'm leaning towards Grant/Mendhall and starting Maclin. But definitely option to suggestions
  9. I'd go Slaton, McNabb and Colston/Driver/Knox...only b/c ATL's secondary is the worst part of their defense
  10. Steve Breaston against Houston Mohamed Massaquoi against Buffalo
  11. Agreed
  12. I appreciate Len 10x more after getting a reminder of the Chip days. There is definitely a nostalgic factor there, but once you get past that, he is quite terrible.
  13. I'd shy away from Jackson as they are going to give Lynch every opportunity to get the full time back and his workload should only increase as he comes back from the suspension. I'd go Hightower and Williams out of those 4, obviously pending on who you can trade JJ for.
  14. Peyton has carried your team all by himself. He is so good it's almost unfair. Best player in the league imo and it's not really that close right now. I'm very satisfied with my smoke and mirrors 3-1 record
  15. Loving me some Steve Smith and Joe Flacco this year. 3-1!!
  16. Politics aside, that man can read a phone book and be captivating. But yes, Go Rio.
  17. Drew Brees let me down. Based on his first two weeks, you have little room to be upset :-({|=
  18. Dammit, there goes our Wild Card chances #-o
  19. No. McNabb is hurt, obviously, hard to tell what he'll be like when he gets back and now that they have Garcia/Vick...risky. Williams is injury prone as can be. Ronnie Brown is good but if you are moving Brady and/or Forte, you need a bigger name than those
  20. Cub fans may not care about this game, but I hope the team does. This game is HUGE for the Giants (4 behind Col?). As a spoiler we gotta go out there and give 'em hell. I don't care which team wins the WC but, well....just sayin'. Unless we can stop anyone in the NL Central from making the playoffs, the role of spoiler doesn't entertain me in the least.
  21. I'm all for renovations to the park, pretty against the new stadium idea. I wouldn't object to them playing a season or part of one at the Cell if the schedule can be worked out. Wrigley needs to be more or less gutted from the bathrooms/seats/concourse areas etc. Just keep the field area/scoreboard the same imo. The neighborhood feel of Wrigley is part of it's charm and I'd hate to lose that.
  22. lol they are Hasselback and Delhomme
  23. I'm offering: Kurt Warner Ryan Grant Devin Hester For: Adrian Peterson Not a PPR League. I'd have Flacco as my starter, Fitzgerald/Steve Smith as my WR's and LenDale White as my #2 back.

  25. agreed...these games are far too important for this to keep happening. Unless my sarcasm detection is way off, I think that's his point there.
