    This a rare occasion....the Cards field a team with NO Dunkiel. That's 8 or 9 automatic outs we don't surrender today. But on the other hand, Baby faced Thompson has stunk pretty bad lately. Should be a good game. :clapping:

    He says it was caused by luggage. But his wife probably smacked him. As far as the pornstache's go...the bullpen started it and it kinda caught on.

    A series split seems like a victory for the Cubs to me - here's hoping we can get even that. I don't see how we even split. Our offense is a joke. So is theirs, but they will still find a way to score 4 a game against us. Not to be argumentitive....but Molina, Ryan and Shumaker all around .300 this year. And Ludwick coming back after injury is hitting over .300 with power. Then there's Pujols. Why do we pitch to Lee????

    That's odd..our guys are like apologist's for the Cubs. And they love Lou. Compared to Baker, the fans dig Lou too.

    If it makes you feel any better your team is made up of crap and Pujols, yet once again you are playing way over your heads. What would make me feel better would be if Dunkiel was traded to the Cubs for Miles and a bag of balls.

    FYI: There is some thinking that if rain delays are emminent that Thompson will start and Carp will go tomorro....congrats on having Ankiel smack dab in the middle of the lineup. That will be 4 innings in the game where you only have to get 2 outs!

    I'm really hyped about our upcoming series....It felt really good to take the Brews 2 of 3. You guys are playing better and WE had a major breakthru today....it was the 1st time all year that the 2 black holes of baseball were not in the lineup! That's right, Dunkiel sat! Brewers are in a swoon, and played awful these 3 games. It's gonna be the Cards and Cubs for this division! BTW....Ludwick seems to be back to speed. A HUGE plus. (but so is Lee) See yall tomorro. ;)

    'Yall should be intrerested to know that Lincecum is mowing down the Cards like a little league team thru 3. The 1 run the Giants have will be MORE than enough.

    I thought my Cards sucked...then I thought 'yall sucked...now I realize we BOTH suck! Brewers lose like 4 or 5 in a row and we make up no ground. Let's get it done today! :thumbsup:

    I heard Harold say something the other nite on TV that was so absurd I figured I must have heard it wrong....but after this article I'm starting to wonder. I'm ready to lump him in with Tim and Joe...but he will have to lose about 50 more IQ points to join Kruk!

    Exactly. If he hits anything on the ground it's an instant DP. And it may come as a surprize that Albert is not the Cards' best clutch hitter....that would be Molina.

    There is no one today that should be walked every time up...the best will fail 2 of 3 times. But there are certain game situations where caution should be used. Albert and a few others should be walked w/1st base open. Other times the pitcher should man up and go for the out.

    BTW....our basket case K Green hit one out and in his next AB was drilled on the kneecap...he's D.L. bound again. (now Pujols with another homer) The Royal pitching is fun to watch.

    For the record, we don't concider K.C. at all. (Don Deckinger we concider!) Cubs and Stro's are true rivals, but we sure love beating the Mets!

    Pretty nice these last 3 games for Cub fans. May turn things around. Brews being beat around like a rented mule! I would love to see the Cards/Cubs 1 and 2 by All Star break. But so many things can happen...the Reds sneaking up too.
