  1. It's the highlight of the very dark last 10 days. Um, I'm gonna have to go with the game Kris Bryant had 16 total bases on this one.
  2. We have to be able to score off of Hoover, right?
  3. This box score is going to be hilarious.
  4. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=nl&qual=0&type=8&season=2016&month=6&season1=2016&ind=0&team=0,ts&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=18,d
  5. If it comes down to it, have Contreras put on Lackey's uniform and have him pinch hit. I'm sure they won't notice.
  6. So Spencer Patton is the only non-starting pitcher left, besides Peralta?
  7. Oh my god, it actually was. Thank you, creepy weirdo.
  8. Peralta versus Votto ought to be fun.
  9. I'm working on it now. I think it's pretty good. I ran into the problem of actually having to do some work today, though. And now this article is becoming much longer than I had planned. I thought I would have it done this evening, but now I am going out to eat. So I'll have to finish it up later tonight. Plan on having a nice read for the morning...
  10. I was going to put out a request that you get to the bottom of Jake's issues, but yeah, I'd much prefer this one. They've all been great...keep up the good work. I was planning on doing that, but I don't really feel like also getting blackout drunk tomorrow. Actually, I'll probably just do both, anyway.
  11. That's his one major negative, for me: too humble.
  12. I think I'll write an article about how awesome Kris Bryant is for the front page tomorrow.
  13. I'd certainly still pick Benintendi having the higher floor. but Happ is catching up to him as a prospect. Yeah, I really, really like Benintendi, too. So me becoming complacent is a minor miracle in and of itself.
  14. lol... apparently Syndergaard and Matz both have bone spurs. They sent them both to the hospital after their last starts. They then did nothing about it. And they rolled them back to the mound, and both guys sucked in their next starts. And the team is still debating on whether or not to send them under the knife this season.
  15. I've been bummed out for a whole year now on missing out on Benintendi. And, while I still like Benintendi more (I'll always prefer guys with super low K-rates), it's not inconceivable that we got what will end up being the better player. Happ's been so good lately that I don't even care anymore.
  16. Also known as: Jorge Soler's career value. Wow, I guess Jorge's career has been a lot more awesome than I thought. I exaggerated a little. He's actually been worth 0.7 fWAR. However, even though it was a magical night for Kris, nothing compares to playoff dongs against the Cardinals.
  17. I'd bet the Yankees would be interested. Only as a throw-in with Kris Bryant.
  18. Also known as: Jorge Soler's career value.
  19. Through 3IP, the Eugene pitcher has allowed no hits, no walks and has struck out six. The Tony Campana trade is finally paying off!
  20. Crazy. I never thought Peralta would give up a home run.
