  1. His swing looks all jacked up to me. Too many loopy passes at balls, and not enough driving through them.
  2. Peralta can't pitch in that situation. He, frankly, shouldn't be pitching in any situation.
  3. Sorry, Matt, but you aren't good enough to do the Javy Slide.
  4. Javy! I was just getting ready to bitch about him swinging at junk, too.
  5. Yeah, but what is his batting average in 5 career ABs against Kershaw?
  6. Imagine that: Bryant feasting on a bad pitcher again.
  7. I'm hoping this is just some small sample nonsense. It doesn't make sense for him to struggle that much against lefties. I'm more excited that he is doing well against righties, though. Hopefully he can correct this issue, and keep hitting righties well.
  8. Yeah, I want to sweep them badly. And I hope all of their pitchers end up back in the hospital after our barrage of dongs.
  9. I think Bumgarner hitting for himself is incredibly dumb. I mean, it's cool that he's hit some home runs and all. But, he's also not a very good hitter. He's hitting .176 this year with a .611 OPS. That's nice that he had a decent, power-heavy batting line the previous two years, but he's also struck out over 35% of the time since 2014. If he doesn't hit a home run, then he's worthless with the bat. And to forfeit the use of a DH is ridiculous. I hope he gets knocked out in the third inning. It is a fun story. And it's rather harmless, being that it's just one game and one spot in the order. So I don't care too much. But, it's still stupid.
  10. Montero to the DL would be my favorite option. He's not going anywhere. But I need some time away from him.
  11. I don't really care what they do at this point. We have enough decent options that my biggest concern is with developing the young guys. Chris Coghlan has no future with this team, sucks right now, most likely isn't going to factor into our playoff plans, and probably won't be able to figure things if he's just a bench guy. But, I'm fine with keeping him on the roster if we think Almora would be better served playing everyday in the minors. Szczur... meh. But he is better than Coghlan right now. And he's a nice emergency safety valve that I wouldn't just give up on. So it's down to Cogs and Almora. And they should just choose whichever is best for Almora himself and not the team.
  12. Well, that's pretty cool. Nice work on twitter getting that some play, goony.
  13. That is some of the worst writing I've ever seen. "Kris Bryant is vulnerable against power pitchers. Here are some random pitchers that I've cherry picked. One is Adam Wainwright. Yea, I'm going to classify him as a power pitcher, even though he barely throws 90." Let's just check and see how Bryant's done against the ultimate power pitcher, the MLB leader in average mph and all around badass, Noah Syndergaard. .667/.667/1.167 ... about what I figured.
  14. Sorry Votto, Willson is a framing extraordinaire.
  15. He damn near made it out to left field.
  16. Absolutely not. And even if he does turn things around, what's the point? Contreras every day, forever.
  17. I'm surprised the weight of the bat doesn't make him tip over.
