    Strop does nothing to help himself. Ever. Strop is arguably a top 5 reliever in Cubs history and you see him horsefeathers on all the time. It's crazy. 5th year as a Cub. 5th year with a sub-3 ERA.

    I'd have to see a replay. But even if he doesn't catch it, and not even factoring in the cannon, Heyward usually does an excellent job of setting up throws and getting them off quick. It would be nice to know what would've been.

    Nothing against Duensing; he's been really good for us. But he's been walking a tight rope lately. Over the last 30 days, he's walked 7 guys and only struck out 3 in 8.2 IP. I hope if Monty is able to slide into the pen for the playoffs that we don't see Duensing in any big spots. He's just not very good. He has had an excellent season, though. I have no complaints about him.

    Honestly, yeah, I think Kyle is our best pitcher. And I would start him Game 1. But I bet if Jake pitches well the next couple starts he will start Game 1. And it's really close between the two. So I am fine with that. And I think Jon definitely should be starting Game 4. And I think they probably will push him back there. I don't think he's healthy.
