Well, this has turned into a really disappointing inning.

I enjoyed the home run. I don't enjoy this challenge this early in the game on such a small thing. Of course, it did hit him, so what the hell do I know?

I know this already has been discussed, and I realize why it happened earlier in the season with so many Opening Day series we played, but I just want to again point out and ask, why the horsefeathers did we have so many off days in April?

We know why big groups of fans give standing O's to players such as Josh Hader and Addison Russell, but I still can't believe they do. I would never, ever stand up and cheer for Russell if I was at a game. It's a direct reflection on anybody who does, in my opinion. Not to get political as I get political, but it's like people who wear MAGA hats. They are basically announcing to the world they are assholes.

Boy, that story about the Cubs cracking down on non-bootlickers really looks more and more likely with all of these doughy beat slobs so readily hurling themselves onto landmines like this. Those two pitches from Webster to Ahmad were not good, right? Meaning, they were put on a tee for the little man to try to dong.

Not to be a prisoner of the moment, but was this one of the crazier regular season games we've had, at least in the past decade? This century? This was pretty crazy.
