I don't think you should be, is what I'm saying. It's not impossible to win a doubleheader and it happens of course, but there are definitely things that make it more difficult than winning on back to back days. Jesus Christ. Literally everything you are saying applies to both teams evenly and thus means nothing. Just stop. But IT'S NOT.

Often you aren't starting the lineup you'd be able to start if it was back-to-back days rather than on both and you also are dealing with bullpen choices you might not normally have to deal with. I imagine it is harder. Think about what you just said. In baseball, you play another team. Right, but the Cubs sitting their good guys and not playing them gives another team a better chance to beat us considering a shitty team has less guys to sit that will hurt them.

I don't think we had one in 08 but we did have a 14-game home win streak. I mean, 10-game winning streaks can't be that cool if nobody can remember the last time we horsefeathering had one.

And when that does better for a while and something else is slumping, THAT will be the narrative. nah, reality has little to do with the narrative. I'm certainly agreeing. Which is why there is no need to be annoyed, since talking heads and meatball fans he mentions will always change the narrative depending on what is wrong at that particular time, even if there is nothing actually wrong.

The thing is, there will always be a narrative about something that is annoying. And when that does better for a while and something else is slumping, THAT will be the narrative.

4th time through plus their good hitters were coming up. If Kyle gave up a dong, we would have complained that he should have been removed. Right. People tend to look at the results when they should be looking at the process. horsefeathers happens. It's baseball. And, really, the offense didn't execute as crisply as it could have in scoring situations that would have added to the lead.

Um, we're winning. And our starting pitcher did great. And the offense is amazing. All 100 percent spot on. That said, probably could have reasonably scored a few more runs with some of the situations they were in. But whatever. No biggie.
