The Cubs and Nats, as a team, have pretty much identical offensive numbers. Nats are at a .263/.340/.453 slash line, .334 wOBA, 102 wRC+, 9% BB rate, 21% K rate, Cubs are at .253/.332/.451, .329 wOBA, 100 wRC+, 9% BB rate, 23% K rate. The only thing they do drastically different is steal bases. They are still better than everything the Cubs do, and then like you pointed out, can also steal bases. And also score more runs without needing dongs, as they rank 14th in that category and the Cubs fifth.
