Oh well. I’m going to choose to look not at the opponent but splitting a four-game series on the road. That’s pretty solid.

I think because that Wallach guy was basically looking worse than a pitcher at the plate during the entire series.

I think the start to 2016 ruined me. Now I expect total dominance right out of the gate, where we are running up pitch counts after four innings and leading by five in the middle innings. (That second part likely is not accurate).

Have they used Montgomery? STARLIN, I WANTED YOU TO DO THAT EARLIER. They have not, but I can’t remember how many pitches he’s thrown in his first two outings.

I think we were bottom five in that for the majority of last season, too.

We’ll think so when they go 3-1. I thought we were going to go 4-0 and win by a combined 60-2. Perhaps that was unrealistic, though.

With these two teams, have to imagine it’s a must due to luxury tax.

If true, I suppose I could see them getting some additional prospects to get Archer and also clearing up the outfield log jam.

Have to imagine we start the 12th with a dong. And if not, I have to imagine we finally score additional runs and win the game. I can see the Marlins holding the Cubs down for 11 innings. But no way do I see them holding them down for 12.

it has to be that they thought they'd be able to move Domingo pretty quickly in a package for a pitcher..........if not, what a weird signing.

Yeah, that guy turned out to be pretty bad. He hit on Yelich early so it seemed like he had some good info, but it got worse and worse from there.
