because he's better than kerry wood No. He's just not. Wood is struggling in his first year in a new league. He'll be much better next year. Gregg just has long periods where he just plain sucks, like April and the first 2 days in August, for example. There's no comparison between the 2; yes Kerry is struggling this year, but his ERA over his career is considerably better than Gregg's and he's thrown a helluva lot more innings; does anyone really think a closer with a career ERA of almost 4 is worth a damn? I sure don't

Gregg's not that bad actually. He just has his days when he can't do anything right. heilman on the other hand should not be allowed to pitch in a Cubs uniform ever again. Gregg sucks as a closer; he hangs way too many sliders and he doesn't throw hard enough; the Marlins were wise in trading him

For some reason the game is blacked out on my DirecTV extra innings package;can anyone explain to me why? I called them 1 time regarding blacked out events and they really couldn't answer my question; i live in Oklahoma so i can't figure out why i can't get his broadcast

This game wore me out; went upstairs when it was 8-5 to take a bath, then next thing i hear it's tied up heading to extras; can we just move the Marlins to the American League for Kansas City so we don't have to play them other than the occasional interleague series every few years?
