  1. Out of college I had a job where I worked 3 days a week 7pm-7am and I wish I could have kept that schedule forever.
  2. Whoa, was Bryant actually pissed there?
  3. I would be a horrible GM because there's barely anyone I would trade Baez for.
  4. [expletive] why? Hopefully that's just a weak attempt at leverage. That would suck.
  5. I'm getting really sick of hearing Ron and Pat talk about how good the opposing pitcher is pitching every game. After like 3 months of this putrid [expletive] of an offense, you can't just keep tipping your cap.
  6. Because he's been hitting well lately.
  7. Even if Baez hasn't improved at all since last year, being awful with the occasional monster-dong is so much more palatable than being Castro-awful.
  8. When basically every hitter on the team is significantly underperforming, I don't know how you keep him this long.
  9. If we don't trade Castro, can we at least send him to Myrtle Beach or something?
  10. This. I'd do that in a heartbeat. I get that they might be trying to hold off trading Baez, but I hope the front office isn't delaying this by caring about guys like Underwood. They want Baez? Give us Upton or Kemp and he's theirs. My favorite part is "Upton or Kemp", you know, whichever. If that falls through we could offer Baez to the Rangers for either Hamilton or Odor.
  11. That's the guy who said Castro for Shields was all but official.
  12. He has his millions of dollars. I HAVE NOTHING! Other people feeling pain is the most approximate feeling i know to happiness. And this is why capitalism still exists as an economic system http://www.checkcity.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/college_freshmen-300x300.jpg?c34c15
  13. Can you confirm if his dog has actually died? That might help a little bit. dead dogs are not funny dude I didn't say funny, you illiterate buttwipe. I said it would make me feel a little better if I knew Castro was feeling genuine emotional pain. He's a young man far, far away from home; the fans who once welckmed him with open arms and treated him like the second coming of Jesus have turned on him, and quite viciously. If that's not emotional pain enough for you, then I'll make it a point to stay on your good side. That's a good point. You're really good at knowing when people are being serious.
  14. Sersly though, Castro seems like a really sweet guy. I hope he has other passions.
  15. Yeah right, my life is actually awesome. Screw you, Cubs.

  19. We need to follow the Cardinals formula. Doughy, aging players having career years, mediocre minor leaguers suddenly figuring it out in the majors, and an endless supply of incredibly fragile aces.
  20. Oh yeah, and I forgot about Buchter. And Rosscup is healthy now. No reason for Soriano to have a job.
