    The last 5 games the SP have gone 4, 6 and 5 innings 3 times including 1 extra inning game. Only Strop and Russell should be unavailable. Wood and Grimm have gone 3 of the past 4 days, with Wood throwing a total of 4.1 innings. Motte has also gone the past two days in a row. Tonight is also the 6th game in the middle of a 20 straight game stretch.

    So, so dumb. Not that Montero over Ross needs more justification than the surface of it, but LH batters have nearly a .140 higher OPS than RH batters vs DeSclafani on his career as well. .647 vs .781.
