I don't know if he is far off base on this one. Being able to show on a big stage that he is healthy going into free agency may very well mean a handful of millions more over a multi year deal. Happ vs LHP is like Javy vs RHP. I don't understand these examples. Happ is pretty good against LHP, Javy is decent against RHP. Javy had a WOBA in the 80s vs RHP and Happ had a WOBA in the the 90s vs LHP pitching this year..... we aren’t leaving some offensive force on the bench not playing Happ vs a LHP tonight or all series.

Tickets for Game 3 of the NLCS are going for under face value There were people trying to SELL tickets outside the park 30 minutes before game time last night. It was totally weird. Oh and I was in the bleachers 12 rows up and there were two full empty rows in front of me until the fourth. The Score was urging people to show up earlier tonight because apparently the entrances got congested, was there added security or something?

I'm already kinda perplexed at the weirdos sobbing over this bearded miscreant getting his ass gone. Mostly nostalgia, he gave us the best season ever by a Cubs pitcher. And knowing we need to find two SP as good or better as he was this year, roughly, makes me a little uneasy.
