It's going to be tough to cool down with our window closing this swiftly. Cubs play in Milwaukee in early April. When do Brewers single game tickets go on sale? I would like to see Darvish in his second start as a Cub vs the Vaunted Brewers They go on sale around whenever ours usually do, late February maybe? There’s always cheap tickets available on StubHub or whatever though. You can get good seats for under $75 a ticket and in the door for under $25. Though may be a bit more this year since Brewer fans think they are good. -

I bet Cleveland was really upset when they traded him to Texas instead. They were, Lucroy vetoed the trade and didn’t have the greatest things to say about Cleveland iirc

Can you imagine the window the Brewers are closing if they get Yelich? Marlins asked for Acuna from the Braves, apparently. The Brewers don’t even have a top 20 prospect, so many windows would be closed if they make a move.

It’s kinda weird all the sudden all this Brewers news is leaking. Almost like they just want to fake show fans they are trying, don’t end up with anyone and then can justify starting Gallardo and Sogards of the world when they win 72 games and be like “what are ya gonna do, we tried to get good players, just didn’t work out/got outbid.”

Yuck on six years, right? Right? All I said was I could live with it if it was structured the right way with AAV, front loaded and an opt out at some point. Ideally yeah it ends up being 5/110-120 on the high side but we will see.

Got it, thanks. So offseason would likely be game replays, some sort of Cubs news show maybe once a week, some original programming/documentaries, The Score Simulcasts and like Loyola/UIC/NIU basketball games

I could live with 6/150, was hoping 6/130 was the top. But from an AAV standpoint I can live with it. Especially if it’s front loaded a bit with real money.

Anyone in the YES market know what they show in the offseason? Do they contract with like a lower level college conference to show games for football/basketball? I’m sure there would be some added Cubs original programming stuff but can only have so much of that.

The Brewer message board guy who has sources now says the Brewers will not be getting Darvish after saying earlier today they were making a big push and wanted a decision soon in order to make other moves if he decided on going elsewhere.....

Good. I hate Jason Kidd and think he's an idiot. Bucks can do better, and need to do better before Giannis and Bledsoe decide to go elsewhere. PS: I hope the Bulls target Giannis if he ever becomes disgruntled and pushes for a trade out of Milwaukee. You and every team in the league but yeah agree on all that. iirc Giannis made some ominous quotes this summer about leaving in free agency when his contract is up in 3-4 years.
