  1. The made up Dodger players must be pissed to see that Dong after the wind killing all their fly balls today
  2. The 2016 World Series MVP worked out pretty well, but perhaps may be under your definition of mega FA signing im thinking in the $100m range Are there only 4? Lester, Crawford, Heyward and Yu?
  3. That’s such an awful call, Jesus Christ umpires suck
  4. Doing something like 7 pick and Portis for the 4th pick and Parson’s makes sense. Bamba is a good fit for the Bulls even if he’s just a rim protector and not much more.
  5. Max Muncy can turn back in to a horsefeathers player any day now
  6. Yadi hit his 8th HR today, that’s 1 fewer than KB and as many or more than any combination of 2 of Willy, Russell, Heyward, Zobrist or Almora. Hit some freaking Dongs you damn fools.
  7. Yeah I don’t think a starter add is on the radar that costs real assets. I think it’s bullpen only right now. And that add could be a guy who could start (Richard, Lugo, Gsellemen, for example).
  8. Fifth starter in second half I'm ready to go to a 6-man rotation out of the break
  9. I think I prefer a clean batting average, good on-base, 10-homer Addy over a crappy batting average, crappy on-base, 21-homer Addy. ETA: But the 21-homer other crappy stuff Addy might be considered better value for all I know. I agree, but he at least needs to hit more doubles I’m fine with 12-15 HRs
  10. Our 20 year olds look old at the plate. I think a lot of it is the RF/oppo/contacty approach by Chili. The pull power just isn’t there right now for a lot of the guys with that approach, which it’s nice to see more contact and the oppo approach at times and Willy and Russell (for example) are walking and getting on base at great clips and striking out less than ever and Russell’s BA is at an all time high but heir power has vanished.
  11. Willy is going to set the record for most middle-middle FBs swung and missed at in a season by the ASB
  12. If Chatwood’s walks were replaced with league average numbers where would the staff overall rank?
  13. Hey we finally scored more than 2 or less runs in a loss today! The boom or bust offense is here no more
  14. Nice approach by Javy tonight, good to see him go middle/RF with stuff
  15. Someone tell the Cubs we don’t need to play by that stupid minor league rule of the first Dodger batter of an inning getting placed on base to start an inning
  16. I don’t want to have to start another horsefeathering game thread this year
  17. What sport does not have people deliberately take advantage of rules loopholes? That's pretty much my point. Golf is unique in major pro sports in that, until now, it's not something we've seen. Unless you know of another instance that I'm not thinking of. Spieth drop at the British Open is the only kinda example I can think of. It was well within rules though, just an unconventional use.
  18. I don’t mind the test for him, he at least should be able to work a count and hopefully gets a hanger to pound. Also, hopefully Hill forgot to piss on his hand last night and the blister opens up early
  19. You just can't lose that game. Just so horsefeathering dumb. KB should've had a dong, Rizzo piss pounds one to RF, Almora throws up a garbage AB, KB wasn't playing on the line there to guard against a double, Wilson continues to be trash, Joe either managed the bullpen a little bit poorly (if Morrow wasn't available) or fireable offense poorly (if Morrow was available). Jesus horsefeathering christ
