Probably not ideal timing after the Almora dong, but generally against righties, 100% agree. Oh I know. Just that the ALMORA NEEDS TO PLAY EVERYDAY crowd needs to chill. They both have solid roles and purposes on this team. Happ is going to have a better career though, imo

Theo needs to invent a time machine to make sure every move is always the right move that works out It's a horsefeathers move until it isn't. Just like they're bums until they're not. Simple. I still think the process was fine on the moves, the results have been dog horsefeathers (Q has had his moments going back to last year though and we don’t make the NLCS without him). It’s just too bad there weren’t a ton of better options out there at the times we needed to make moves.

Eh, we will be fine. This is horsefeathering annoying though and they can figure it out anytime now. Think including a loss today we’ve still won 8 of the last 11 series. The sweep against the Reds is a real dick kick but can’t do anything about that now.

Or maybe these coaches have little to no control of things really happening Yeah we don't know for sure but we have the pitchers track records pre-Hickey to go off of vs. with Hickey. Of course the sample size is too small and there are other variables outside of the pitching coach. Yeah I think a 15 game sample is probably too small to make anything of it. Especially because it’s not like guys are throwing different pitches or using them differently. I think if there’s any Hickey blame it’s not for them being the pitches they have been, it should be him not getting them righted, yet, and identifying the issues/causes.

At this point I feel like it's no longer jumping the gun to say that Hickey flat out sucks. We're leading the league in walks by a decent margin, and our rotation which was supposed to be a huge strength is a dumpster fire. I don't know about sucks, he has a solid track record. He either might not fit with this group of pitchers or possibly we haven't given him enough time to get the expected results. Or maybe these coaches have little to no control of things really happening
