  1. This James guy going from a 90 MPH pitcher to 100+ because he got on a [expletive] CPAP machine needs to be investigated
  2. I looked at the box score, he threw five pitches? That was their plan..... face Bellinger to start and pull him to get Woodruff’s career ~4 ERA and FIP in there to be the real starter so Miley can start Friday.
  3. Yeah, I've been thinking about that recently. Johnson must be off the charts amazing. He's in my top 3 to replace Maddon. TT already mentioned Hyde, and Disarcina are my top 3. Yeah I’m surprised Johnson hasn’t been named as an option for any of the current openings. I think he played a bigger role here than we realized at the time. I’d love for him to be the guy to replace Maddon.
  4. You can tell Machado and Almora are friends with this GBs to SS
  5. horsefeathering vaunted brain genius 40D Chess move
  6. His foot was taking up way too much of the bag like an idiot but Machado still had about 2/3s of the bag that was open to land his feet on, he also wasn’t running overly hard as it was a relatively routine play and he had about 3-4 steps (not really running) to adjust where to put his feet before he got to the bag once the out was recorded. It was a dirty horsefeathering play by Machado. Okay, but that is brutal footwork by the first baseman that is going to get somebody else injured and he should be stepped on every single time until he learns how to play beyond the level of a 6-year old. Oh it’s absolutely awful footwork by Aguilar, there’s no reason to have that much of your foot on the base on a routine catch other than being a shitty fielder. On closer plays where guys are running harder he absolutely could get himself or the runner hurt (Jose Martinez is also awful at this when he plays 1B and I believe he suffered a foot/Achilles injury this year because of it). It’s pretty clear Machado went out of his way to hit Aguilar here though.
  7. the first baseman standing on top of the bag? Yes, that is dirty. 8. CPAP machines, at least for that one guy who pitched the other night. Said it added 10 MPH getting his sleep apnea under control.
  9. Maybe the Brewers are really goodThis was against the 40 year old Guerra of the ~5 era this year.
  10. At least we aren’t the only team that fucks up in advantageous counts. Dodgers went 0-0 broken bat ground out, 1-0 infield pop out and 2-0 weak grounder that inning.
  11. The Dodgers haven’t taken a quality AB since like the 7th, just going straight hero ball.
  12. Machado seems like a punk ass dirty player watching these last few games and also remembering stuff for his past now (threw a bat at Donaldson, spiked Pedroia) #TeamBryceForLife
  13. "IF THAT BALL GET'S BY IT'S AN EASY TRIPLE" It was a bloop that the CF was clearly backing up. Lol, yeah Smoltz acting like that’s a inside the park HR if he misses it when the CF was 15 FT behind him was something
  14. [tweet] [/tweet]
  15. This seems like it could turn in to a big thing and needs its own thread. Someone feel free to change the title. [tweet] [/tweet] [tweet] [/tweet]
  16. What did the tweet say? Looks like it got deleted. EDIT: Assuming it was this? Yeah looks like they updated it since now the Indians filed a complaint
  17. Quite predictable he turns in to a fraud pumpkin he is this series vs the Brewers
  18. I saw this too, at this point outside of general hatred of Boston everything (which I completely respect) I can't imagine why anyone wants the Astros to win. I only want them in because I think they’re better than the Brewers and I want to make sure the VBs don’t win. I still don’t think the Red Sox are “that” good. Playing the Jays and Orioles ~40 times skewed their record a bit, imo.
  19. https://twitter.com/hardballtalk/status/1052346839238873088?s=21 Wonder what else they are cheating at, since all their pitchers go nuclear once they get there up and down the system.
  20. Bryant’s better or they are about the same assuming Bryant is healthy
