It is. It’s crazy to think but even just adding a Granderson, Maybin, Jackson, etc type would’ve been an upgrade and we couldn’t or didn’t even want to do that. -
Yeah those suck, have to imagine he’s going to miss a decent amount of time. Can’t exactly swing a bat or do regular baseball motions with that.

I’d say outside of tonight, which still the bullpen just sucks but could’ve been quicker on the trigger, none of this horsefeathers is on Joe so far. who cares. the last 2+ seasons have been a consistent descent in every way, and nothing of significance has changed. it's time. they can't stress getting out to a fast start 2 years in a row, have a complete meltdown like this in the first week, and not do anything. really thought it doesn't even matter. we have like 3 good major league players, no money, and a trashy system. barring some magic by theo, the run looks over for now. If they want to let him go to “light a fire” or as more of a body of work over the last few years or whatever, fine I guess. But to act like this start is really on Joe I think is a bit disingenuous. On the latter comment about the run being over I’d say I’m gonna wait longer than 5 games in early April to declare such a thing.

By doing this deal Bote jumps Almora for guys likely to be sent down at some point. Which the $15 million is worth doing that alone in my eyes, any actual production is gravy.

Weren’t we up like 5 games on the Brewers after taking 3 of 4 in Milwaukee the second weekend of the year last year? I don’t really care about standings at this point, just pointing out the obnoxious ways the Brewers are winning games.

Let’s see how Alex Wilson closes out this game for the Brewers after a leadoff walk. Sure it will be fun to watch him lock it down.

I’m in the VBs market, so I get all their games. Have the game on in the background as a I was working. Firgured their ridiculous luck/sequencing continuing was worth noting since we were talking about it like 15 hours ago here.

Why does it feel cheap? Going 20-20-20 is insane. I didn't watch the game. It doesn't feel cheap to me, but rather, according to a lot of comments I've seen online, and on another forum I frequent. A lot of talk about how he "stat hunts" and shouldn't have even been in the game late. To me it's an extraordinary accomplishment. He definitely stat hunts, especially rebounds late. He essentially will foul his own guys for boards. I have no idea if he did in this game. I did see people complaining it took him like 28 shots to get to 20 points, but whatever. It is a cool accomplishment.
