    He’s a fun prospect and I’d gladly take him in the Cubs system but to act like he’s a “watch out for this guy” type prospect is a joke. Much like his top ~30 prospect rankings.

    Because they aren’t. It took a 17-4 record vs horsefeathers teams to get on a 90 win pace and where they’re at. They did this last year in August too. I’m dubious they finish with more than 85 wins. It’s like the Brewers last year that took the heater of all heaters to take us down, maybe it happens again. But we’re better and have 7 shots vs them and they can’t keep playing like .850 baseball for the next month, a correction is due. I uttered these exact same words last year. Oh sure, it is similar to last year. Except like 6-8 wins less on projections to win the division. Yes the Cubs are disappointing and underachieving, that is true and annoying. But luckily the team they’re competing with is worse and hopefully doesn’t play .800 baseball for over a month.

    Yeah it’s annoying as horsefeathers because they aren’t good, but good on them. Hopefully they don’t keep it up for September and normalize to their true talent. Annoying we’ve won 9 or 13 and stayed neutral (or lost?) ground. Still gonna have a chance with the 7 against them and them hopefully cooling off. how are they "not good"? Because they aren’t.     Iglesias is the perfect example of how teams should trade RPs during their good seasons when the team sucks vs holding on to them thinking they’ll ever contribute when they hit a competitive window

    What? If there’s someone in the organization enabling drug abuse and prescribing/supplying these guys drugs they don’t need they should absolutely be investigated. Did you read the article? They're just blindly lashing out trying to blame someone bc they can't handle that he had a substance abuse problem. horsefeathers them. Sure I get they’re trying to place blame and would prefer not to accept their son/husband was just an addict but even if it’s misguided he was still getting the drugs from somewhere and if someone in the organization was enabling/facilitating it, it should be investigated.
