    It's my birthday. If history is any indication, the Cubs' chances don't look very good. They haven't won a game on July 20th since 2010. They are 1-8 on July 20th for the last 10 years.

    I lived in Cincy for almost 20 years, I always though Gold Star was better.

    Pretty sure Morrow is dead. It is probably part of the reason we signed Kimbrel.

    I believe while a player is on the restricted list their salary does not count against the luxury tax. Not sure how big of an issue that is but that could be just as important as the actually money that would be going to Zobrist in deciding what moves the Cubs want to make. Bastin's article on cubs.com says a player on the restricted list doesn't receive salary.
